Join Debi Kleiman, Executive Director, The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College, for an insightful discussion of her new book, First Pitch: Winning Money, Mentors, and More for Your Startup.
The interpersonal dynamics of the pitch process can be challenging on both sides. For entrepreneurs, pitching is do or die. Understanding the strategies and skills to create and deliver a compelling pitch as well as develop the relationships you need for startup success is key. For investors, having clarity on the pitch and developing trust can be the critical factor of a successful partnership and ultimate financial rewards.
Debi will share:
· important lessons for entrepreneurs and investors from her book
· tips for virtual pitches and managing the online environment
· thoughts on what the relationship between angels and startups might look like as the global crisis subsides.
This webinar is critical for both entrepreneurs and investors as we navigate this new age of virtual pitches and investments. Participants will engage in a dialogue about how to improve experiences and outcomes for everyone involved in the pitch process. Please bring your perspective and best practices to share with the group. We look forward to a lively and interesting conversation!
