Innovation is the lifeblood of healthcare -- from lifesaving technologies, to the constant drive towards growth, to new understandings of the healthcare experience. The global pandemic has revealed what was already clear to industry experts like Legacy founder and World Economic Forum fellow Khaled Kteily: the future is digital health.

This session will cover all the ways that your company can ride this wave, including

  • Advice on business management during the pandemic

  • Opportunities within the digital, at-home, and telehealth markets

  • How to stay ahead of the innovation curve

  • Pitfalls to look out for as you grow your company

About our guest entrepreneur

Khaled Kteliy is the CEO of Legacy (www.givelegacy.com), a Y Combinator company changing the outdated view that fertility is a “women’s issue” with an accessible, at-home kit for men to have their sperm analyzed, improved, and frozen. Legacy has raised $3.5M in venture funding from Bain Capital Ventures, Section 32, and other leading investors.

The company has grown 25% MOM for the past 18 months and has secured major partnerships including with large insurers and military providers. Most recently, the company has taken the lead on funding studies examining the impact of COVID-19 on male fertility, and has grown significantly at a time when access to in-person healthcare services has dropped significantly.

A former healthcare consultant at Oliver Wyman in Toronto, Khaled studied public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he received a full scholarship and graduated with distinction. Khaled was previously a Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, where he had his work on entrepreneurship published at Davos.

Khaled is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He was recently selected by the World Government Summit as one of the top 100 Arab Youth Pioneers, is an Aspen Ideas Health Scholar, and currently serves on the boards of the Harvard Arab Alumni Association and the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership.
