About Chelsea Emery

Chelsea is the executive editor of Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) which covers staffing, contingent workforce, HR and other employment-related topics, as well as runs a contributed content vertical, “Staffing Stream.”

Previously, Chelsea was the executive editor of Expert Press where she advised executives on thought leadership topics and style, edited their articles and placed them as earned media with global publications including Fortune, Forbes, MarketWatch, TheHill and many others. Prior to that, she was editor-in-chief at Financial Planning Magazine and was the founding deputy editor of BBC’s WorkLife vertical. She covered markets for Bloomberg News, as well as reported on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring for Reuters in 2008.

During her tenure at Financial Planning, the magazine and online publication won multiple Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) awards, Neal awards, and ASBPE recognitions. In 2018, Emery was recognized on the Folio: 100 list of influential magazine editors.
